Chewbacca in September　２００５

It was still hot in Tokyo on September 10th because of the heat of late summer.
It was about four thirty that Chewbacca finally started to move.

Hello!

On my third stage　
I finally became awake.

around 4:30p.m.

Under the roof

I arrived at Chewbacca's pen a little before two o'clock.
He was sleeping under the roof for at least forty minutes from 2:00p.m.
He sometimes opened his eyes and changed his position.

Chewbacca was fast asleep.

Next place to sleep was on the stage

around 2:40

He stepped up to the glass with interested look, but he soon fell asleep.

　

　

Still sleepy

He went back to under the roof and slept again.
15:10-15:40

To the stage again

Is he opening or shutting his eyes?

　
He was about to sleep.

Chewbacca was reluctant to get up though he sometimes opened his eyes.

He finally got up, however,......

He was fading from the scene.

Chewbacca always goes off the stage cautiously
because there is a gap between the stage and the big stone.

He rolled the stump and put it in the water dish.

　
Soon he took it out of the water dish. The concrete floor around the water dish got wet.


He finished playing with the stump after ten minutes.
More than half water in the water dish has spilled.

	I'm going up onto the stage.
He went up onto the stage, and touched the log.
	Then he passed the log and came near the glass.
Have you been waiting for me for a long time?
	It's too late to say "Hello"now, isn't it?
Excuse for yawning.
	Did everyone see me yawn?
Chewbacca was looking hard at something.
	A lot of people on this side are also looking at me. I am a star by any chance ?!

I could see Chewbacca go home after a long time.

The door opend from the inside of his room this day.
The keeper has opened the door at the gate (outside of the door) for the recent five years, though.
