Chewbacca at the end of June

June 24th, 2004
It was crisp afternoon for June though it was nearly 30 C.
I was relieved to see Chewbacca who was comparatively active.

Something happened to the big oak tree in Chewbacca's pen

The big oak tree where Chewbacca often sleeps was clipped.
(It seems to have been clipped between June 16 and June 23)

* * * * *

Chewbacca's new sleeping place is ........

They made three-cornered place with reed( or straw) roof for Chewbacca.
I'm happy for you, Chewbacca.

(It is Chewbacca who looks like a browny clump under the triangular roof.)

Chewbacca's on his back, feet in the air

Chewbacca was unusually lying on his back when I arrived at two in the afternoon.
It's fun to see his feet.

Turned sideways

Changed his position and slept again

Chewbacca seems to be fond of sleeping under the new trianglular roof.
He had a pleasant doze for a long time.

Is he getting up or not.....

for about twenty minutes

Getting up, he scratched his back first

Sorry to keep you waiting

He finally came out of the triangular corner and came up to the glass.

Which way to take?

All rihgt, which way to take.....
Yes! I 'll go back to..........

Can you guess where I 'm making a pose?
I am in front of the three-cornered place.
You can see the triangular roof, can't you?
Chewbacca's great approach

(I wish there were no glass!)
He went to the oak tree.

The net was wrapped around the oak tree recently, for I may
bite and chew.

I'm sorry, but I'll not play with you today, Mr. Log.
Moved again.
He went in the channel but he came out of it soon.
Coming down here, he yawned.
Excuse me, don't you let me go back to my house yet?
I 'm taking a little rest because I was fatigued with appealing.

My dinner seems to be prepared.......
I had my patience exhauste and I started to walk again.
I'll go up from here.......
There's no problem though it' a little high.
Look! I've gone up here easily.
I'll go up to 'my stage' next.

He went up quickly inspite of his short rear legs.
I'll just chew the handle.
Little of my breakfast was left today.......
He came back to the three-cornered place.
You know, I haven't seen the wallabies next door to me for about two months.
I wonder if they will come back.
I'll take a peep.

With a stmup for a while

at the lower left: It's fun to see his left rear foot and his back.

I wonder which side is better?

See you!
