Chewbacca in September

I have two special days in September.
One is the anniversary of my coming to the Tama zoo(Sept.4),
and the other is Respect-for-senior-citizens Day.
I wonder how many times I have been celebrated as a long-life animal?

I'll tell you about Respect-for-senior-citizens Day this year.

One day in September, a bill like this was stuck on the wall.

It says,"Chewbacca, congratulations on your long-life!
In honor of Chewbacca who lives long, the keeper will talk about Chewbacca
at 16:00 on September 18

Many people gathered around my pen at that time.
I was going back and forth in front of my room since I wanted to go home.

September 18th

One and a half hours went by before the keeper's talk began.
I was eating hay then.
I have a good appetite even in hot summer, however,
I wonder if Hiroki is okay?

After picking up hay with my right hand,

I ate and ate.

I wondered why around my pen was crowded with more people than usual?

I have to meet the visitors' expectations as a model.

The keeper talked about me and the wombats for 15 minutes.
I sometimes sat and sometimes walked, and
I also appealed to let me enter the room while the keeper was talking.

The keeper said that I was good at digging and unlocking the door.
I wonder if I was praised?

The keepers look like they have difficulty with me since I'm aggressive.
However....., you know I have to protect my territory

The keeper said that I missed my front tooth recently.
I didn't want many visiters to know that, though.

The keeper also talked about Crump.
I wonder if he would be digging the cloud?

Before Respect-for Senior-citizens Day

I, the brown wombat, appeared from the green pokeweed.
I'm matched with the green leaves, aren't I?
Do you think that my hind leg looks longer?

The keeper has come!

Would you give me some hay?

I bit the fence wildly.
I suppose my tooth was chipped since I bit and bit and bit.......

I dug and dug.

The keeper has left.......

I attacked the ball in spite of the heat.

I've found a piece of stick!

I'm not doing push-up.

Did you find that I lost my tooth?
I wonder when it will return?

A walking model?

Headed to the stage with handles.

I worked as a model on the stage with handles.
I have to be careful not to open my mouth.
Chewbacca the model doesn't want the visitors to see since my teeth aren't perfect.
