Chewbacca on June 1st

Though the log on my bed was missing last month, it came back today.
However, it was not the old one, but a new one.
Since the new log had a bark on it, I was curious to bite it,
and so, I bit and bit it today.

Instead, the pillar and the log by the oak tree were missing.
I wonder where they had gone?

I wonder if the keeper had moved it somewhere else
since there appeared a puddle by the tree because of the continuous rain?

I wish they would come back to me.
I do like the logs!

I was sleeping under the roof in the early afternoon as usual.
around 13:20


Though I woke up at 13:50 and crawled out from under the roof......


　　


I moved to the bed and slept till 14:10.
　

　

I got lost in biting the new log today.
The visitors were glad that I played with it quite a lot
though I was sometimes taking a rest.

The first time

I was on a time-out.

I went down the stage and took a walk for a short time.
After I came back here, I had a sleep for thirty minutes or so.
It was the happiest time.

The strange shot of the wallaroo and me

I was sleeping deeply without knowing that the wallaroo was in my pen.
Actually the wallaroo wasn't near me.
She was on the flat concrete floor and I was on the bed.

It's about time to get up

I heard the visitors saying that Chewacca was so cute again and again.
　

　



I got up and played with the log.

Back in
I kept moving and biting the log again.　
　

　

I wondered if I should go on the stage, and I decided to go on it.
　

　

I attacked the bamboo poles, but they counterattacked.
I think I fought bravely with them.
Unfortunately I was no match for them.
I'm telling you, three to one was not fair.
　

　　

around 16:30
I was wating for the keeper, doing my own version of 'Open Sesame'.
The keeper soon appeared, however....
　

　　　

Around 16:40,
the keeper didn't come to my room but went toward the wallabies'pen.
I hurried to the keeper who was cleaning the wallabies' pen.

　　
I began to chase him, but I stooped when I found the ball toy on the way.
I played with it excitedly for a short time.

　It's not time to do such a thing, though....

I thought I heard his footsteps again.

I'll go ahead and look for him.

I wonder where he is?

I still think that he is around here.

Excuse me, would you show me your face?


I gave up and I came back to the ball toy.
The keeper went toward my room then.





The door opened at 16:45.
