Chewbacca at the beginning of October

October 4th

I was awake a lot in the afternoon today.
The notice below was posted beside the wombat sign,
perhaps around the Respect-for the-Aged Day last month.
The title is "In honor of Chewbacca who lives long "



The notice with my picture was posted here.




The contents of the board above is summarized as follows:

"Chewbacca came to the Tama Zoo from the Taronga Zoo in Australia
on September 4th in 1986.
We hope you will enjoy cute Chewbacca who is digging hard
and is sleeping with the log"


The keepers think I'm cute!






The pole part of my ball toy got caught in the crossbar of the roof today.
Though I had to struggle hard, I was able to pull it out
by using my brain and my brawn.

Some visitors who saw me succeed in pulling it out said
that Chewbacca was smart!
Uh-huh, I'm smart!

I moved the ball toy from the glass wall, but


　

I moved it back to the glass wall.
　

　

I tried and tried!

The pole part of the ball toy got caught in the crossbar of the roof
while I was playing with it.
I tried hard and finally succeeded in getting it out.

The ball toy won't move.

I'll try to push it from this side.

I bit it a bit.

Remains the same.....

I couldn't move it from here......






I gave up moving the ball toy and went toward the bed.

I tried again at 16:15

This time around!

The ball toy moved a bit, and I passed through....

I wonder if I'll push it from this side?

( I heard some visitors say, "Chewbacca, it may be caught again if you push it.")

I realized it was better to push it from inside of the roof.

I think I can do it.

Well done!

Since I used my brain on the second attempt,
I was able to get the ball toy out in a couple of minutes

When I heard some visitors say that Chewbacca was smart,
I was as proud as a peacock.

Played the ball toy again
around 16:20

After I got it out of the roof, I played with it.

It was so easy for me to move since it was that small.
